Greenspring Media is the award-winning publisher of Minnesota Monthly, Midwest Home, Meeting + Events magazines, and other national and local publications. Greenspring is looking for a detail-focused intern to work directly with the Marketing and Sales departments to work on a variety of marketing and sales projects. A typical internship with Greenspring Media starts at the beginning of a quarter (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and lasts 12 weeks. Interns will be paid $15/hour. This is an in-person position, and you will be required to work 10-20 hours per week out of our Bloomington office.
What you’ll do:
- Create email campaigns to communicate with possible or existing advertisers
- Compile prospect lists using customer databases, Google, and LinkedIn
- Update and maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Pull reports related to revenue, prospects, and sales efforts
- Analyze competitive magazines
- Mail, shelf, and archive magazines
- Support Account Executives and Sales & Marketing Specialists with sales-related tasks
- Special projects as needed
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to follow direction well
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- A positive attitude and flexibility for changing priorities
Desired Skills:
- Experience in sales and marketing
- Experience working with clients/customers
- CRM software (Magazine Manager), Hubspot, or Zoominfo experience
