Minnesota Monthly – Account Executive for Events, Digital, and Print

  • Drive Results – Individually manage leads, develop pipeline, and prospect for new print, digital and event opportunities while consistently providing a superior customer experience
  • Close – Achieve and exceed personal sales quota and activity goals
  • Manage a Book of Business – Leverage the sales process to manage opportunities and the customer experience
  • Engage, Support and Be Supported – Actively contribute to and work responsibly in a team environment, including collaborating with fellow sales reps and key internal partners
  • Build a Marketing Plan – Cultivate, maintain, and engage customers with our products in order to promote omnichannel packages and achieve revenue goals
  • Gather and log all call information, sales orders, and profile activity within our CRM system

You are a fit for this role if you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment (think: SALES HUNTER), in which you pride yourself on selling the right solutions to the right clients and following up each sale with exceptional service. You’re experienced in consultative selling with a consistent track record of sales performance in print, digital marketing tactics and events.

  • Experience in forecasting and pipeline management
  • Experience in prospecting/cold calling environment
  • Experience selling cross-channel packages
  • Equally comfortable selling digital services like paid social, Google Display, retargeting and geofencing, etc., as you are selling traditional print and event participation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-centric, professional, and high integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
