Chicago, May 18, 2005 – Greenspring Media Group, producer of the Chicago Luxury Home Tour, launches a new magazine to capture the ever-growing interest among Chicagoland readers in the latest trends in custom home building, interior design, remodeling, and innovative home accessories. Release date will be May 23 on metro-area newsstands and mailed to targeted households in a trial basis.

Initially published quarterly, Midwest Home Chicago will eventually be a bimonthly shelter publication edited for style-conscious homeowners who value quality, creativity, and beautiful design.

“Although the shelter magazine is a somewhat oversaturated publishing segment, there is always room for a magazine that connects, engages and serves a particular audience need for more inspired ways to enjoy our lives through an enhanced home environment,” says Chris Lee, Editor. “We will be successful to the extent that we deliver a locally focused shelter magazine that takes a service journalism approach to better living through better design. It’s not a price-point statement about affluent living as much as it is an attitude approach to enjoying and appreciating your home surroundings.”

Midwest Home Chicago will be available at Barnes & Noble, Borders and Dominick’s Finer Foods.

Greenspring Media Group publishes Minnesota Monthly magazine, Midwest Home and Garden, Drinks, Carat, Real Food, and multiple custom publications. In addition to the publishing segment of its business, Greenspring Media Group produces signature special events including the Twin Cities Food and Wine Experience, and Luxury Home Tours in Naples, the Twin Cities and Chicago.
